Zingy Kiev
Essential Ingredient:
Turkey Breast Fillets
1 clove of Garlic

50g Butter

Pepperdew pepper

Turkey Breast (ours was cut from the crown)

100g breadcrumbs

50g plain flour

1 egg

To serve:
Serve with oven chips and peas.
Recipe from Cakes and Scribbles.
A yummy twist on the traditional chicken version. The peppers add zing to the middle!
  1. Finely chop the garlic and pepperdew and mix with the butter into a paste
  2. Cut a small incision in the widest part of the side of the turkey breast and open a pocket inside the breast. The smaller the incision the better but be careful not to push through the face of the turkey breast
  3. Stuff the butter mixture inside the breast, as much as possible
  4. Roll the breast in seasoned flour, then in egg, then in breadcrumb
  5. Fry the breast for a couple of minutes both sides to brown the breadcrumbs, then cook in a hot oven for about 20 -25 mins depending on the size of the kiev
