Indian Spiced Meatballs
This recipe was sent to us by Helen, one of our online blogger mums. Her challenge was to cook a family meal using turkey for under £10. Here's what she thought:

It's delicious, easy to make, healthy, and if you have some in the freezer you always feel like a good meal awaits. It's a one pot wonder and you don't have to serve it with anything else, so It feel it's going to become a regular in our household. 
Essential Ingredient:
Turkey Mince
450g Fresh Turkey Mince

1 tsp ground Cumin

1 tsp ground Coriander

1 tsp Garam Masala

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1 fresh chilli, deseeded and finely chopped (optional)

Fistful of fresh coriander, chopped

Olive oil (for frying)

To serve:
Fresh pasta
A surprising and elegant twist on the classic meatball recipe.
  1. Mix all the ingredients together (apart from the oilive oil)
  2. Form into 16 balls
  3. Heat the oil in an ovenproof frying pan (if you don't have an ovenproof pan you can transfer the meatballs to a baking tray)
  4. Fry the meatballs to seal on all sides
  5. Transfer the pan to a preheated 200 degree (C) oven for 12 minutes, until cooked all the way through
